Foundational Drawing Course
with Mary Gulland
Wednesdays 29th January, 5th, 11th, 19th & 26th February, 5th March, 10.00 a.m. - 1 p.m.
You might have seen Mary’s work on the Isle of Man. She’s known for her large silk paintings and vibrant acrylic paintings. Mary has taught art in schools and classes for over 25 years.
We’re delighted that she’s once again offering this opportunity to learn to draw here at Thie dy Vea.
This is an 18 hour course over 6 weeks. It will require patience as you learn to see in new ways. You’ll be using pencils, pen and ink, washes, pastels and working with a variety of different papers. The lessons are sequential, building on what’s gone before and helping you to gain in confidence.
Cost: £180 to include a personal art pack, all materials, and refreshments.
Places are limited and can be secured with a £50 deposit. The balance of the course fee will be due on 29th January.
The number of places on this course is very limited. Please only reserve a place if you can commit to attending all 6 sessions.
