Cathedral & Gardens
Thie dy Vea is just 5 minutes walk from Cathedral Isle of Man here in Peel.
The Cathedral is well worth a visit, not least to see the new gardens which are starting to mature beautifully. These seventeen conceptual gardens tell the story of the birth and growth of Christianity on the Isle of Man, and include a replica of an ancient keeill and a labyrinth. They provide a harmonious and beautiful setting in which to walk, relax and be refreshed.
The Cathedral is open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and visitors are very welcome to look around, learn more about its history or just enjoy some quiet time.
Thie Dy Vea is registered as a charity on the Isle of Man - Manx Charity Number 1309.
