Welcome!
Welcome!
We all know of people whose lives inspire us by their courage, generosity, imagination or brilliance. People who encourage us to live better, more fulfilled lives. Christian churches either informally, or formally (like the Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches) present us with inspiring people whom they call ‘saints’. Saints are not perfect people, but they do have aspects of their lives that stand out and are worthy of emulation.
This Lent we’re inviting you to take advantage of resources produced by the Ignatian Spirituality Centre in Glasgow. Day by day you’ll discover something of the lives of over 40 people, some canonised saints, others renowned for their lives of love and public service. Each day there will be a Bible passage to pray with, a piece of music, a picture to ponder and a short reflection. This might be just what you’re looking for to encourage you this Lent.
